About Me
I have been taking photographs since childhood. As my family was stationed around the world, my love of photography was combined with experiencing many different cultures and natural environments. I was always taking pictures and because I was the guy behind the camera, this is one of the few pictures of me. Here shown on a recent trip to the Napo Wildlife Center in the Ecuadorian Amazon region.
Now fully retired from my law practice I live in Annapolis Md. and pursue my passion for travel with my wife Sharon, photography, and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. My images have appeared in Spinsheet Magazine and Chesapeake Bay Magazine. I have exhibited work at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Ginger Cove, and the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center Hollingsworth Gallery. My photo was the the cover image for the Digital Photography Club of Annapolis 2021 calendar and other images were published in the Friends of Quiet Waters Park calendars in 2022 and 2023.
Most of my work involves nature, wildlife, and particularly birds. For me, photography is the art of seeing beyond the obvious and capturing a story or a feeling in moments that will never be repeated. I learn something with every image. This website is a way to share some of these captured moments.
